Still so much to do

I am still trying to get this thing set up for optimum reading pleasure. I need to install a site tracker and post some pictures and think of some witty anecdotes. Right now I am tired, but not sleepy.
This morning I woke up to the first snow of the season and the girls got to stay home for 3 inches of the white stuff. Usually they would go to school but I don't think the city was as prepared as it should have been. I, on the other hand, arrived at work early to sit around and wait on customers to come in. I sell cars. Well, I try to sell cars and I am pretty good at it when I have customers that are interested in the specific cars I sell. The reason I am good at it is 1. Because I am not a car salesman-I've only been doing it since April of '07 and 2. I do not like car salesmen and I refuse to act like a total scam artist, sleaze or huckster. That being said, I spent a good part of a blustery, snowy afternoon scraping 3 to 6 inches of the white death off of the 60 or so SUV's, minivans and cars. I grew up in the mid-south and if it snowed this much there in a year people would talk about it for decades to come. I still cannot get used to it after 12 years. I still refuse to buy a snow blower because soon & I mean soon I will hit that stinkin mega millions jackpot and then I can use that money for sunblock and botox. Until then I will get up, scrape the snow off of my truck, try to get one of the girls to shovel the driveway, go to work & scrape the snow off of someone else's cars. Oh and try to post some pictures and post some witty anecdotes.

Numero uno

Well, well, well,This is the first post and actually a test. I have always been a reader, not a writer. So, tonight (today) I will forego the witty quips and try to reach into my innerself and find something worth posting in the very near future. My sense of security for me and my family are numero uno. The need to just put it out there will hopefully quell my sense of isolation from my home town-a mere 525 miles away. I will be writing on my music loves, family, observations and culinary adventures. I will steal alot of stuff from my favorite bloggites & make some random thoughts out of nothing. I will also be posting on backstories of my recent youth and making fun of my family and myself. I hope you enjoy and I hope you studied for the test.tastelessly yours,SF
