It's been a long time

It's been a long time but I have been busy with the new job. I have worked 18 miles from my house or 25 mins. away. Then I was transferred to a store that was 45 mins. away. That was hard but a great store. I miss them much. I have a new store as of May 20th that I adore. It's slower which means less bonus and less people to do my evil bidding but it is staffed with alot of great people.
I have alot of new pics which I will post on here in a bit. I am trying to at least post once a week but no less than once a month. I do inventory and stay up til 5 a.m. most tues nights/weds mornings.So that's 2-3 hours I am still pumped and not able to sleep and nothing constructive to do.
I do lurve me some FACEBOOK though. I have connected with friends and people I have met and had good times with and seen that they are still as goofy, smart, cynical and even funnier than back in the 80's/90's/naught's.
Well, we have the annual July 4th party coming up and it looks to be a bust. The people that came last year have all made plans because they know I am in restaurants now and there is not a way I can get a Saturday off. Well I managed it, 'cuz I don't ask for much. I have another shoulder for BBQ, making ABT's, watermelon, burgers, brats, baked beans and games. Plus pyrotechnics at the end!
I am still looking forward to lifting up my friends and bring diverse people together. How very Obama of me--I really just wanna show off my skills to the people I like & love. If I must say it myself-I am a bad man when it come to a grill-I am using propane and lump charcoal grills this year! That's right - Dual grillin. Eat my smoke Bobby Flay!

That facebook thingy

I have missed my friends and family for a long time now and I would call various people when I first got here and complain and they would listen and comment on how bad it was there. The last person I talked to before moving to Ohio was Yameah and he said good luck, Godspeed and do what you gotta do. Well I did. Now I have found facebook and it is like stepping back to the past. I feel like it is a class reunion with people you actually liked. One friend married a girl I knew at another school 2 years before. I would have never put them together. I found my best friend from kindergarten, dudes from high school and friends from old jobs. Now if I could get them all together for a BBq, I would be set. Heck, I even found my Great aunt in Miami and she still talks to me. I like it alot better than myspace because it is more mature and less porno. So if'n you wanna check out the master of the Casa de loco, go to facebook and look up lackoftaste and see who we both know.
